Ned Alfred Yauger, 72, Sweetser, passed away in his home at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Born in Hamilton, Ohio, to the late Alfred and Ollie (Cochran) Yauger, Ned married Frances Roaden on February 20, 1965, and she survives.
Ned worked as a machinist at General Motors in Marion until his retirement. He was an active CB and Ham Radio operator, and he loved to fix electronics. Ned also loved to go to drag races.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Frances; children, Mark Yauger, Illinois, Mike (Missy) Yauger, Fairfield, Ohio, and Tamara Yauger, Selma; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and brother, Jon (Cookie) Yauger, Hamilton, Ohio.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Rybolt Chapel, 314 N. Washington St., Swayzee.
Ned’s funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Randy Thornburg officiating.
