Naomi R. Foudy, 99 formerly of Zanesville passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Heritage Pointe in Warren. Naomi had worked at Standard Packaging at Baer Field in Fort Wayne for 19 years, retiring in 1978. She was a 1936 graduate of Warren High school and a member of the Faith Community Church of God. Naomi loved gardening, fishing, hunting mushrooms and Kit Kat candy bars. She loved her grandchildren and was a wonderful cook.

Naomi was born on January 18, 1918 in Wells County. A daughter of Frank and Sadie (Abner) Yount.

She was united in marriage to Fred C. Foudy on October 18, 1941 in Warren. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2001.

Survivors include two daughters: Judy (Tom) Risk of Roanoke and Pat (Bill) Quickery of Fort Wayne. Six grandchildren: Lori Stern, Jamie Stoffel, Will Haynes, Holly Soria, Suzanne Mickley and Matt Risk. Eleven great grandchildren five great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters: Violet Schwob, Berniece Myers and Vivian Berry. Four brothers: Lawrence Yount, James Yount, David Yount and Paul Yount.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Heritage Pointe, Applegate Chapel, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Heritage Pointe, Applegate Chapel, with one hour prior to the service. Chaplain Gerald Moreland will be officiating.

Interment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
