He was born February 14, 1931 in rural North Manchester, IN to Albert Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Funderburgh) Cook. On November 4, 1951 he married Evelyn Lucile Coning on November 4, 1951. He started Cook’s Carpet Care, North Manchester, IN in 1953. He was a member of Old German Baptist Brethren Church, North Manchester, IN. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn L. Cook, North Manchester, IN; two sons, Philip (Betty) Cook, Athens, WI and Stuart (Catharine) Cook, North Manchester, IN; two daughters, Maribeth Cook, North Manchester, IN and Sylvia (Stephen) Callaway, North Manchester, IN; one brother, Everett (Beverly) Cook, North Manchester, IN; three sisters, Catherine Rockwell, North Manchester, IN, Rachel Graybill, Wakarusa, IN and Ethel (Bud) Lewis, North Manchester, IN; ten grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren. Six brothers-in-law, Delbert Rockwell, Dennis Graybill, Richard Coning, Charlie Brubaker, Herman Coning and Leon Metzger and one grandson are deceased. Services will be Saturday, March 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Old German Baptist Brethren Church, State Road 13, North Manchester, IN. Home Brethren will officiate.
