Monelle E. Ragan, 64, of Peru passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 in Wabash, Indiana.
She was born in Peru on August 17, 1951 to Jonathan and Wanita (Fear) Hodson. She married her husband, Ed, on December 28, 1971. He preceded her in death on December 19, 1997.
Monelle was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, plants, bells, spending time outside, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her seven children: Brian Ragan, Sheila (Matt) Wilson, Eric (Holly) Ragan, Jerry Ragan, Barbie (Dewey) Strong, Jessica (Brent) Rasmussen, and Charles Ragan (Amber Ottinger). Also surviving are siblings: Brownie Winters, Howard Richardson, Danny & Becky Hodson, and Kitty Dearing. Also, 17 grandkids: Justin, Danny, Blake, Alecia, Laura, Kody, Lindsey, Zach, Tony, Lacy, Levi, Jayda, Adrian, Andrew, Mason, Kaylee and Oliver.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Ragan, as well as her parents, and brothers: Jim Hodson, Larry Hodson, and Paul “Cap” Hodson; sisters: Arliss Richardson and Janet Thomas; and half-sisters: Peg Teal, Bernice Small, and Phoebe Small.
Visitation will be held from 4pm – 7pm at the Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home on Friday, April 29, 2016. Funeral service will be at 10am at the funeral home on Saturday, April 30, 2016. Burial will follow at the Reyburn Cemetery.
