Minnie Lovera Gillum, 90, rural Mexico, Indiana, passed way at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Logansport.

Born December 7, 1926, in Crossroads, Texas, the daughter of James and Roberta Moon Snowden.  She was married to Victor Donald Gillum, in Dallas, Texas, and he preceded her in death on August 15, 1995.

Lovera was a resident of Miami County, living here for thirty-eight years.  She was a member of the Mexico Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Charlene Shafer and husband Harold, Peru; and Vickie Clontz and husband Don, Bloomington, Indiana; one son, Dennis Gillum and wife Brenda, Harrah, Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Noel Shafer, Mexico; Tricia (Eric) Edwards, Glendale, CA; Cheri (Greg) Lantz, Melissa (Jim) Kehoe, Pasadena, CA; Donald Gillum, Amanda Clayton, and Lisa Clayton, all of Harrah, Oklahoma; and Eric (Desiree) Rogers, Charlotte, NC; and Kevin Rogers. Boston, MA; and great grandchildren, Neo Shafer, Beckett Edwards, Amanda, Allison, and Jack Lantz, Rowan Kehoe, Ryan and Neil Hatchel, and Sierra and Danielle Clayton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters, and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Pastor Lucas Fausett officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contribution may be made to Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico.
