Mildred L. Roth, 98, North Manchester, IN died at 4:50 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2016 in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. She was born June 16, 1918 in North Manchester, IN to Orville & Etta (Shireman) Emerick. She graduated from Chester High School in 1937. On June 20, 1942 she married David R. Roth. He died July 14, 2014. Mildred was a homemaker and retired from Controls Co. in 1973 after 15 years of service. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Manchester, IN and a 73 year member and Past Worthy Matron of Ivy Chapter #69, Order of Eastern Star, North Manchester, IN and member of Ruth Chapter#7, Order of Easter Star, Ft. Pierce, FL. She is survived by sons, Thomas A. (Janet) Roth, Dewart Lake, IN and Steven L. (Billie) Roth, Rossville, IN; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. One son, Jerry L. Roth, one daughter, Judith A. Roth and one sister, Maxine Burton, are deceased.
