Mildred was born in Marion on February 12, 1945 to the late Kenneth D. Ramp and Kathryn (Wheat) Ramp. She passed away on April 27, 2016 in her Marion home.

For most of Mildred’s life she lived in Gas City. On July 10, 1964 she married Merrill Andrews. Mr. Andrews survives. Mildred was a homemaker and in her early years she enjoyed quilting, fishing, camping and playing the lottery. To say Mildred was a Peyton Manning fan would be an understatement! She cheered for the Colts and when Manning went to play for the Denver Broncos she quickly became a Bronco fan. Because of her admiration of Peyton Manning the family requests that her friends and family wear Peyton Manning attire to her funeral.

She is survived by two children, Sherri L. Andrews, Marion and James D. (Ann) Andrews, Gas City; three sisters, Phyllis Hocket, Marion; Crete (Kenny) Bassett, Kokomo; Mary Jane (Norman) Dobson, Lancaster, South Carolina; 5 grandchildren, Tyler (Brittany) Andrews, Justin Andrews, Haley (Joe) Perry, Mikayla Scott, Arik Scott; 2 great-grandchildren, Teagan Andrews and Kaiden Andrews; several nieces and nephews.

Mildred is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Franklin Ramp and William Ramp; one sister, Lena Sue Ramp.

Funeral services for Mildred will be held at 1pm on Monday May 2, 2016 in Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Gas City Chapel, 200 North 7th Street, Gas City, Indiana.

Visitation will begin at 11am on Monday until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers please direct memorial contributions to the Chrystal Hall family for the medical expenses of Jewel Rogers.
