Michelle D. Orpurt, 41, of Peru passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Howard Community Hospital in Kokomo.
She was born in Peru, Indiana on October 1, 1975 to Errol Orpurt and Florence Steele. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother and step-father, George Steele, of Kokomo. She is also survived by brothers Walter (Shannon) Orpurt of Kokomo, and Errol “Gene” Orpurt of Lafayette; and sisters Sandy (Richard) Hernandez of California, Tammy (Bill) Hoffman of Peru, and Linda (Roger) Spillman of Peru. Also surviving are 14 nieces and nephews, and 20 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 3pm – 5pm on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 5pm, with Todd Burns officiating. Love offerings may be made to the family thru the funeral home.
