Michael Joe Horn, Sr., 59, of Jonesboro, passed away at Marion General Hospital on Saturday, September 2, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born in Marion, Indiana on January 2, 1958, to the late Basil Horn and Betty Cambell.
Michael attended Mississinewa High School. He was also a member of the Jonesboro American Legion. His hobbies included, shooting pool, watching sports and fishing.
Survivors include his sons, Michael J. (Cristie) Horn, Jr. and Jeremy L. (Amanda) Horn; sisters, Cathy Horn Osborne and Andrea (Craig) Kirby; grandchildren, Trenton (Kaity) Horn, Dylan Horn and Alyssa Horn.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Wanda Horn, Dorthy Nelson, and James Larson; sister, Georgia Horn Julian; and grandson, Christopher Mohan.
A memorial service for Michael will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2017, at the Jonesboro American Legion.
