Michael James Harkin passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at his home in Newark, Ohio. He was born on October 17, 1975 in Peru, Indiana. Mike graduated from Peru High School in 1994 and then went on to college at Ivy Tech and the University of Phoenix where he obtained an Associates degree. His company, Final Touch Automotive, was a new direction for Mike, carrying on the love of auto restoration that he shared with his dad.
Mike was preceded in death by his father James Harkin, ex-wife Connie Harkin and cousin Ron Justice. He is survived by his beautiful beloved daughters Jazmin and Jenna Harkin, dearly beloved mother Deborah Harkin, sisters Kim Popoff and Kate Jones, aunts Kristi Forshee and Cheryl Herrell, step grandfather Donald Hyman, Uncle Dale and Aunt Cheryl Kerschner, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
