Michael J. Fosnough, 63, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Michael was born to the late Ralph Irvin Fosnough and Margaret (Clements) Fosnough, who survives, on November 29, 1953, in Marion, Indiana. He attended Marion High School and was in the class of 1972. Mike then worked for RCA for almost 30 years until the Marion plant shut down. He married Jeanna Johnson on June 1, 2016, and she survives.
Mike loved to tinker with things, taking them apart and then putting them back together. He had a very scientific mind. He enjoyed watching movies in his free time. Mike also had a summer home in Canada and loved to spend the whole day on the lake fishing.
Mike is survived by his wife, Jeanna Johnson Fosnough, Marion, IN; mother, Margaret Fosnough, Marion, IN; 4 sons, Joshua Fosnough, Richmond, IN, Shane Copeland, Muncie, IN, Robert (Allissa) Johnson, Gaston, IN, and James Johnson, Marion, IN; daughter, Shannon (Jared) Sprinkle, Marion, IN; brother, Robert (Nancy) Fosnough, Bass Lake, IN; 2 granddaughters; 1 grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Fosnough; brother, William Philip Fosnough, ex-wives, Diane and Connie Fosnough; grandparents, David and Grace Clements, and Irwin and Berniece Fosnough; and aunt, Dorothy Lynch.
Arrangements for Michael have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, Indiana 46953. In accordance with Michael’s wishes, there will be no services.
