Maxine Thorn, 78, of Peru passed away at 4:38am on December 16, 2017 at Dukes Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 28, 1939 to Melva & Roosevelt Hall in Prentiss, MS. She worked in civil engineering at Grissom AFB from 1973 until her retirement.
Maxine is survived by her children, Donna Baruso and Clarence Fischer, her sister Catherine Hall, brothers Roscoe and Eldean Hall, Jimmy Hall, Ronald Hall, and Harold Hall. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5pm – 7pm on Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Mount Herman Baptist Church, 451 West 2nd Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at the Taylor Funeral Home, 63 East 79th Street, Chicago, Illinois at 11am on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Friends and family may call from 10am until time of service. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
