Mary Virginia “Gina” Wyant, 85, Marion, died at 5:10 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Colonial Oaks, Marion. She was born in Marion, IN to the late Meredith and Edith (Renbarger) Fowler. She married her husband of 65 years, Daniel L. Wyant, on November 19, 1950, and he survives.
Gina was a graduate of Marion High School. She was a homemaker. Gina was active in various sororities. She was past president of PEO Chapter BT. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Conversation Club. Gina also enjoyed the Hostess House and playing in her Bridge Club.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel; children, J.D. (Peggy) Wyant, Marion, David L. (Debbie) Wyant, Wheeling, WV, Nancy A. (J.R.) Griffin, Scottsdale, AZ, Gregory A. (Diane) Wyant, Columbus, MS; six grandchildren; and sister, Phylis Kepler, Marion.
In addition to her parents, Gina was preceded in death by her brothers, William, Richard, and Phillip Fowler.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016, at Estates of Serenity, 1101 S. Lincoln Blvd., Marion, IN.
