Mary Margaret Meyer, age 88, of Huntington, passed away Sunday April 2, 2017 at 9:45 pm at The Heritage of Huntington. She graduated from Urbana High School in 1946, and worked in bookkeeping at First Federal, retiring in 1985. Mary was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, and enjoyed doing counted cross stitch.
Mary was born April 26, 1928, in Wabash County, the daughter of William and Teresa (Coughlin) Driscoll. On October 28, 1950, she married her beloved husband of 62 years Kenneth M. Meyer in Huntington and he passed away July 29, 2013. She is survived by 3 sons Alan (Letty) Meyer of Fort Wayne, Stan Meyer of Huntington, Dennis (Margaret) Meyer of North Webster, 2 daughters Diane (Mark) Smith of Verona, WI and Cindy (Bob) McKay of Huntington, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by 3 brothers Jerry Driscoll, John Driscoll and William Driscoll and 4 sisters Dorothy French, Anna Driscoll, June Weed and Lucille Barker.
Visitation will be held Thursday April 6, 2017 from 9-10 am at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church prior to the 10:00 am Mass of Christian burial. Father Silvina Ndayambaje will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington.
