Mary M. Maddox, 81, passed away in her Indianapolis home at 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017. She was born in Grant County on May 21, 1935, to the late William Milliner and Norma R. (Bush) Grubbs.
Mary was a homemaker for most of her life. When she was younger, she was a line worker at Tulox Plastics for 14 years. She enjoyed flowers and cooking for family and friends. Her family especially loved her cherry delight and chicken and noodles.
She is survived by her children, Teresa McDaniel, Marion, Tim Maddox, Marion, and Jennifer (Chris) Kershner, Indianapolis; 4 grandchildren, Brad Maddox, Todd Maddox, Trey Kershner, and Dylan Kershner; 1 great-granddaughter, Alana; and sister, Martha (Leo) Corey, Marion.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Milliner; sister, Nellie Barley; and daughter, Diana Maddox.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be at a later date at Estates of Serenity.
