Mary L. Trout, 94, of Warren, IN, passed away at 6:23 PM on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on Monday, April 2, 1923, in Huntington County, IN. She married Kenneth E. Trout on Sunday, April 27, 1941 in Mt. Etna, IN; he passed away on April, 27, 2006. Mary was a 1941 graduate of West Rock Creek High School. She was a farmer’s wife, who enjoyed sewing, cooking and square dancing. Mary was a 75 year member of the First Baptist Church in Warren.
Survivors include: Son – Larry D. (Wife, Bonnie) Trout, Ft. Wayne, IN, Daughter – Darlene E. (Husband, Daniel) Shelley, Fishers, IN, 7 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her: Father – Grover C. Dearth, Mother – Ethel M. (Barnett) Dearth, Husband – Kenneth E. Trout, Sister – Margaret Pinkerton, Brother – Maurice Dearth and Sister – Dorothy Carr.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at First Baptist Church 727 N. Wayne St. Warren on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 1, 2017 with Pastor Rusty Strickler officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
