Mary Jane Sharp, 88, entered into eternal peace on Thursday, November 9th, 2017, at Blair Ridge Health Campus, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary Jane was born on February 19, 1929, daughter of the late Gerhart and Anna Schini. She married the late William E. Sharp on August 27, 1949 and were married 49 loving years. Mary Jane was a lifelong communicant of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was kind-hearted and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William, in 1997; three devoted children: Jennifer Arwood, Gerry Sharp, & Thomas Sharp; and sister Roseanna White.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her; daughter, Jane Ellen Pennington, (husband) Arnold; grandchildren: Justin Pennington (wife) Meg, Brittany Foust (husband) Leonel, Anna Sharp (fiancé) Scott Tipton. Also, great-grandchildren: Madison, Ella, & Elizabeth Pennington, and Bristal & Wesson Foust.
Visitation will be held at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home on Monday, November 13th from 4-7 pm. Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Tuesday, November 14th at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home 105 W. 3rd St. Peru, IN.
