Mary Ellen Foxx, 71, Marion, died at 12:29 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born in Marion, IN, to the late Orvin and Emily Weaver. She was married to Clayton J. Foxx, who preceded her in death on May 20, 1993.
Mary was a homemaker and previously worked for RCA. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marion and was active in the Debbie Vance Circle. Mary loved Elvis, fishing, and dining out. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, Tom and Amanda Lyons, and their children, Miracle and Noah Lyons.
Mary is survived by her cousin, Robert Lamb, KY. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her very close friend, Sara Reese.
Friends and family may call from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Estates of Serenity, Marion.
