Mary was a graduate of Linlawn High School. She retired from Wabash Magnetics, and also worked at Frances Slocum Bank. She was a member of the Wabash Church of Christ where she played the piano. Mary’s pastimes were oil painting and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Karan (Herbert) Lothamer of New Haven, Indiana, and Janet Shepherd of Warsaw, Indiana; six grandchildren, Lance (Margie) Lothamer of New Haven, Christopher (Kelli) Lothamer of Decatur, Indiana, Jennifer (Adam) Randolph and Kelly Reynolds, both of New Haven, Todd Shepherd and Lana (Toby) Farling, both of Warsaw, nine great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Alec Templeton, son-in-law, Columbus Shepherd, brother, Robert Hollingshead, and her sister, Jeanette Hollingshead.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday April 21, 2018 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Larry Hall officiating. Burial will be in Mississinewa Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 1 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Wabash Church of Christ or Heart to Heart Hospice of Marion, Indiana.
