Marvin R. Langston, 76 of Huntington passed away at 10:20 am on Friday, July 15, 2016 at his residence. Marvin was a lifetime farmer in Huntington County. He had worked at CNM Plating and then at BF Goodrich for over 30 years retiring in the late 90’s. He was a 1958 graduate of Roanoke High School. He was U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1963 to 1965. He was a member of the American Legion Post 160 of Roanoke, a member of the Indiana Rabbit Breeder Association for over 40 years, a 25 year member of the Indiana Mini Lop Club and a member of the Bippus Volunteer Fire Dept. for 20 years. Marvin collected Toy tractors, he liked fishing and going to Antique Farming Events. Marvin and his wife showed Rabbits all of the Midwest. He also enjoyed, and rarely missed, going to his Grandsons Beef shows.

Marvin was born on March 9, 1940 in Huntington County, a son of George and Laura (Stephens) Langston. He was united in marriage to Elaine Raichart on February 2, 1963 in Huntington. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include – A son: Michael (Amy) Langston of Huntington; two brothers: Marion (Grace) Langston and Paul (Sherry) Langston both of Huntington. Three Grandsons: Collin Langston, Rhitt Langston and Cole Langston.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ralph Langston.

A Memorial Service will take place at a later date at the Bippus Volunteer Fire Dept.
