Martha J. Thomas, 93, of Peru, Indiana passed away on March 31, 2017 at Dukes Memorial Hospital.
She was born on February 20, 1924 in Peru, Indiana to George L. Thomas and Mary E. (Hiers) Thomas. Martha is survived by one sister, Joan Fallstick of Peru, Indiana. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as five brothers and four sisters.
Martha enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time with family. She loved her cat, Friskie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 10am – 11am at St. Charles Catholic Church, 58 West Fifth Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 11am, with Father Adam Mauman officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery.
