Martha Ann Hill, 87, of rural Peru, Indiana, died at 1:05 pm, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Peru. She was born October 29, 1929 in Ohio to John Walter and Florence (Slane) Lines.
Martha married Glenn M. Hill in Amanda, Ohio on October 4, 1947. She worked 13 years as an X-Ray technician at Dukes Hospital in Peru. She was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church in Peru.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn M. Hill of Peru; two daughters, Carolyn (John) Gerhart of Amboy, Indiana, and Kathy (Rodney) Brubaker of Wabash, Indiana; five grandchildren, Byron (Shelley) Brubaker of Wabash, Michael (Tina) Gerhart and Michelle (Robbie) Harrison, both of Kokomo, Indiana, Brandi (Justin) Brown and Benjamin (Brittany) Brubaker, both of Wabash, 12 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, eight sisters, one great granddaughter, and one great great grandson.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with David Phillips officiating. Friends may call 9-11 am Saturday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is American Diabetes Association.
