Marjorie A. Miller, 91 of Battle Creek, Michigan and formerly of Huntington passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Bickford Cottage Assisted Living. Marjorie was a 1944 graduate of Clear Creek High School. She had worked at First National Bank in Huntington for 30 years. She was a member of the Clear Creek Happy Homemaker Home Economics Club as well as a previous member of Faith Chapel United Methodist Church and was a current member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church both in Huntington. Marjorie enjoyed traveling and visiting all 50 states. She was an avid basketball fan, supporting the Clear Creek Bulldogs and Huntington North Vikings.

Marjorie was born on February 10, 1926 in Huntington, the daughter of Floyd and Marie (Hack) Selle.

She was united in marriage to Dean Miller on April 20, 1947 in Clear Creek Township. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2004.

Survivors include a daughter: Beverly (Charles) Dommer of Battle Creek, MI; a daughter-in-law: Susan Miller of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren: Laura Peyton of Mahwah, NJ; Brian Dommer of Battle Creek, MI; Justin Miller of Fort Wayne; four great grandchildren: Cameron & Caden Dommer and Landon & Gavin Peyton.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Floyd and Marie Selle; a son: Stanton Miller and two sisters: Eloise Beal and Mary Catherine Dowden.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Faith Chapel United Methodist Church, 2978 W. 1100 N., Huntington, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the Faith Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Jason Parsons officiating.

Interment will be at the Beech Grove Cemetery in Huntington County.
