Maria G. Garcia, 76, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away at 1:18 AM on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. She was born on Sunday, May 5, 1940. Maria enjoyed listening to music and cooking. She loved getting the opportunity to go see her family in Texas.
Loving survivors include: 3 Daughters – Ann Narvaiz, Benita Ortiz and Judy Perez, all of Texas, 10 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren and 1 Gr. Gr. Grandchild, Sister – Lily Farias, Texas, Brother – Joe Gonzalez, Decatur, IN, Sister – Susie Perez, Ft. Wayne, IN and Sister – Nellie Risden, Noblesville, IN.
She was preceded in death by her: Father – Ralph Gonzalez, Mother – Conception (Bustos) Gonzalez, Sister – Vera Rameriz, Brother – Mike Gonzalez and Brother – Charley Gonzalez.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Glancy – H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N Matilda St. Warren on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A service to celebrate Maria’s life will follow at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2017 with her bother-in-law-Pastor Mike Risden officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
