Margaret L. Frantz, 98, Marion, died at 5:35 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Heritage Pointe in Warren, IN. She was born in Marion, IN, to the late Troy Alton and Blanche (Druley) Wiley. On May 28, 1938, Margaret married William H. Frantz, and he preceded her in death on April 24, 1990.
Margaret was a self-employed seamstress, and she attended Central Christian Church for a while. She had a great curiosity about the world and, therefore, took a great interest in reading history and keeping current on the most recent events. Margaret enjoyed classical music and going to concerts and museums, and she also loved to go out to eat.
Survivors include her children, Susan Miller, Karen (Ron) Harrell, and David Frantz, all from Marion; grandchildren, Troy (Michele) Stanley, Gas City, Tony (Kathleen) Stanley, Marion, Len (Nyoka) Harrell, Marion, Robert (Liza) Harrell, Marietta, GA, Alex (Kim Goins) Harrell, Marion, Philip Frantz, CA, and Maggie (Andy) Frantz, Alameda, CA; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding Margaret in death were son-in-law, Paul Miller; brother, Robert Wiley; and sister, Elouise Wiley.
Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. Services will begin at 12 noon with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park in Marion.
