Visitation will be from 3 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory in Huntington County.
Margaret was born on August 16, 1928 in Alexandria, the daughter of Robert M. and Beulah (Reavis) Tobin. She married Paul Badger on November 20, 1946 in Huntington; he preceded her in death on April 16, 1996. Margaret worked in sales at McCullough’s Department Store in Huntington, then as a pharmacy technician at Bob Miller Pharmacy: most recently, she worked at Huntington Theater selling tickets and as a custodian. She was a member of VFW Post #2689 Ladies’ Auxiliary and Moose Lodge #837 in Huntington. She was an avid bowler and loved to roller skate.
Surviving are three brothers – Jesse M. Tobin and Tom Tobin, both of Huntington, and James (Carol) Tobin of Dunnellon, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Fred Tobin, and two sisters, Patricia Denton and Betty Oplinger.
