Margaret A. Morford, 96, North Manchester, IN died at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, IN. She was born July 20, 1919 in Whitley County, IN to Virgil G. & Opal (Lehman) Little. On February 26, 1939 she married Harold Morford. He died July 16, 2006. She graduated from Chester High School, North Manchester, IN class of 1937. Margaret retired from Heckman Bindery in 1985 after 29 years of service. She was a member of United Methodist Church, North Manchester, IN and Eastern Star, North Manchester, IN. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Carol) Dickerhoff, Munster, IN; two grandchildren, Dianne Watring, Cicero, IN and Mrs. Tim (Suzy) Schleeper, Madison, WI; four great grandchildren, August Watring, Noblesville, IN, Andrea Schleeper, Madison, WI, Michael Schleeper, Madison, WI and Lauren Schleeper, Madison, WI. One son, Loren L. Morford, and one brother and one sister are deceased. GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE APRIL 16, 2016 AT 11:00 A.M. AT FAIRVIEW CEMETERY, COUNTY ROAD 300 EAST, SERVIA, IN. Rev. Larry Ray and Pastor Sue Babovec will officiate.
