Maconaquah Looking to Renovate Their Sporting Facilities

MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. – Wednesday, February 22nd, Maconaquah School Board held their regular meeting at the Central Office. Maconaquah is under a $10 million bond issue Construction Project for the 2016-2017 school year.  Construction project was the main topic of discussion and the board approved to renovate the football cleat house. Bids will be put out on the March 22nd meeting, April 6th meeting will receive bids, April 10th will advertise in a special meeting and reward the contract.  With the cleat house being renovated the football press box will be remodeled and stay on the east side of the football field. Bidders for the press box will be issued February 27th, receiving bids will be March 16th, and then rewarding a contract on March 22nd. The corporation is looking for bidders on the Tennis Courts and the fencing around the courts. The same information will go out to bidders just like the cleat house project.  Superintendent Dr. Douglas Arnold talks about the Turf Project:

Just north of the baseball field, concession stand, and the restrooms, the board approved to add some locker rooms.  The board is looking for quotes on this project as well.
