Lucille O. Pimkerton, 92 of Warren went to be with her Lord and Savior at 6:25 pm on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Heritage Pointe in Warren. Lucille was a 1942 graduate of Monument City High School. She worked as an LPN nurse at Marion General Hospital, retiring in 1973. She carried on her caregiving skills by taking care of her home, husband and grandchildren. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and garden. She was well known as Miss Posey among her fellow flower friends. She was a member of the Mt. Etna United Methodist Church as wells as the United Methodist Women’s.

Lucille was born on January 5, 1924 in Huntington, Indiana, the daughter of Cameron and Imo (Watson) DeHaven.

She was united in marriage to Noble G. Pinkerton on July 20, 1945. Her husband survives.

Lucille will be greatly missed by survivors: her husband Noble G. Pinkerton of nearly 71 years; two daughters: Claudia Rosa (Cliff) Bouchey of Bluffton; Connie (Steve) Craw of Gas City; five grandchildren: Teresa (Shawn) Scott of Fairmount; Steve Dailey of Plainfield; Sheila (Brian) Cook of Gas City; Shanna (Jason) Parsley of Avon; and Hazel Hemmer of Silverton, OR; fifteen great grandchildren: Mathew (Monica) Hoffman of Tampa, FL; Shaylynn Bobo of Baton Rouge, LA; Holly Cook of Fort Wayne; Brady Dailey of Majenica; Shaden Bobo of Gas City; Shawnee Bobo of Grand Rapids, MI; Sara and Haley Scott of Fairmount; Ian and Zach Hemmer of Silverton, OR; Jaidyn, Jaeleigh and Josie Parsley of Avon; Noble Dailey of Kokomo and Connie Dailey of Elwood and four great-great grandchildren: Keenan and Sage Hoffman of Tampa, FL; Luke Sprunger of Fort Wayne and Dez Dailey of Huntington.

She was preceded in death by a daughter: Lucy Ann Pinkerton and a sister: Edna Emmons.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the Applegate Chapel at Heritage Pointe, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren, Indiana.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11:00 am following visitation at the Applegate Chapel with Pastor Dick Case officiating.

Interment will be at the Mt. Etna Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made out to Parkview Hospice in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.

The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Pointe, Parkview Huntington Hospital and Parkview Hospice for not only giving Lucille excellent care but for giving care to the entire family as well.
