Lowell Paul “Bill” Cooper, Jr., 70, of Amboy, Indiana, died at 8:20 am, Friday, August 4, 2017 at his home. He was born September 3, 1946 in Muncie, Indiana to Lowell and Charlotte (Mauller) Cooper.

Bill retired from Chrysler in 2004 after 30 years. He was a member of the NRA and Ducks Unlimited. Bill enjoyed guns, hunting, and training and raising dogs. He was a very giving man and someone who would give his last dollar to a person in need. Bill enjoyed spending time with dogs more than people. 

He is survived by three daughters, Kimberly (Mark) Baker of Tipton, Indiana, Wendy (Kevin) Gary of Urbana, Ohio, and Fawn (Mike) Gary of Muncie, nine grandchildren, Nicholas (Brandi) Biddle, Elizabeth (Tyler) Wolf, Nathan Biddle, Melissa (Ivo) Petrov, Emily Rehfus, Nikoa Cooper, Garrison Rehfus, Billy Cooper, and Cheyenne Ritchie, six great-grandchildren, Aubrey Wolf, Madilynne Petrov, Maximus Wolf, Matilda Petrov, Avery Prater, and Jasmine Biddle, and two sisters, Linda (Clayton) Fleming of Noblesville, Indiana, and Carolyn (Eldred) King of Parker City, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Lois Russell.

Graveside services will be 1:00 pmTuesday, August 8, 2017 at Sheeks Cemetery, Mitchell, Indiana, with Rev. Kurt Freeman officiating. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
