Louis J. Frederick Jr., 80, died Thursday, December 7, 2017 at his Gas City residence.
Louis was born in Knightstown, Indiana on August 3, 1937 to the late Louis and Lorina (Tanner) Frederick. He graduated from Knightstown High School and married Leslie Nicholson on May 15, 1971. Louis was a self-taught engineer for Greeneline Manufacturing for over 30 years. He enjoyed target shooting and wood working.
Louis is survived by his wife, Leslie, children; Bob (Victoria) Frederick, Elkart, IN, Felicia (Dean) Scrouton, Richmond, TX, William (Faith) Frederick, Morganton, NC Amy (Matthew) Culp, Lafayette, IN, grandchildren; Ean (Melissa) Frederick, Emily Frederick, Natalie (Pierre) Echeverz, George Terrance, Amanda Frederick, Haley (Kree) Begay, Jason Harrison, Jenna Harrison, and Joshua Harrison, and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter; Tina Frederick, and sisters; Mary Lou Bland and Sarah Parsley.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where a visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 form 4-8 PM. Funeral service celebrating Louis’s life will be on Tuesday, December 12 at 11 AM Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana.
