Louis H. Pieper, 73, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Huntington, IN.
Mr. Pieper was born on September 4, 1943, in Chicago, IL, to Julius M. and Irene T. (Stoltman) Pieper. His parents preceded him in death.
Mr. Pieper graduated high school from Mt Ayr High School, in Mt Ayr, IN. He was a groundskeeper at Norwood’s Golf course for over 20 years, and a member of American Legion Post 85.
Louis is survived by two children, Kristina (Jay) Woodlock of Morocco, IN and Kent (Tricia) Pieper of Roselawn, IN. He is also survived by two sisters Patricia (Jim) Kline of Brook, IN, and Marlowe (Bill) Wilson of North Ft Meyers, FL; and three brothers, George F. (Phyllis) Pieper, Huntington, IN, Bob (Judy) Pieper of Burbank, CA and Tom (Charlene) Pieper of McHenry, IL. Five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mr. Pieper was preceded in death by one brother Julius Pieper.
To honor the wishes of Louis, there will be no calling hours or service.
A private burial will be at a later date.
