Louella D. Bennett, 85, of Fowlerton, Indiana died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Wesleyan Health Care in Marion. A special thank you to the staff of Wesleyan Health Care for the attention and care given to Louella and her family.
Louella was born in Summer County, West Virginia on April 29, 1931, one of 16 children born to the late Harry and Ida (Smith) Fox. She married Joseph S. Bennett on December 11, 1948 in Hinton, West Virginia. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2007. Louella was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to McDonalds for Breakfast and visiting with friends, flowers, playing bingo, attending family reunions and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Louella is survived by her five children; Sandy (Jeffrery) Roberts, Fowlerton, IN Barry (Roberta) Bennett, Gas City, IN, Tim Bennett, Texas, Diana McCoy, Gas City, IN and Linda Myers, Anderson, IN, two brothers; Hobert (Janice) Fox, and Paul (Nancy) Fox both of West Virginia, two sisters; Polly (Jennings) Angle and Judy (Arnold) Bennett both of Florida, 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by 6 brothers, 5 sisters, great-grandchild, Benjamin Shirley and special friend Dick Smith.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana. There are no services.
