Lois V. Hoover, 79, of Peru passed away on July 16, 2017 at Dukes Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Peru on May 9, 1938 to Clay and Sylvia (Rogers) Willis. She was a 1956 graduate of Peru High School. She later married Richard Lee Hoover. A homemaker, Lois enjoyed gardening, spending time with her three dogs, and bargain shopping at Goodwill with her best friend.
She is survived by her children, Darin Hoover and Robin (Gary) Campbell. She is also survived by a brother, Bobby of Florida, as well as three grandchildren: Tyler Brown, Daniel Hoover, and Clayton Brown; and one great-grandchild, Landon Hoover. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 3pm – 7pm on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the funeral home, with Pastor Phil Cruea officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
