Lloyd A. Moore, 87, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Ossian Health & Rehab Center in Ossian, IN. He was born on Sunday, October 21, 1928, in Huntington, IN. Lloyd worked as a cabinet hanger at Pearless Mobile Home Manufacturing for 10 years, Branstator’s Mobile Home Manufacturing for 4 years and Wayne Home Equipment for 18 years, all in Ft. Wayne. He retired in 1991 from Wayne Home Equipment. Lloyd enjoyed woodworking in his free time and was a member of the Northside Missionary Church in Ft. Wayne.
Survivors include: Sister – Sharon Detamore, Warren, IN, Sister-in-law – Barb Moore, Buffalo, WY, Niece – Rae Lynn, Sheridan, WY, Niece – Dr. Patsy (Husband, Jack) Detamore-Brush, Uniondale,IN, Nephew – Bob Moore, Fallon, NV, Nephew – Bill (Wife, Becky) Detamore, SD, Nephew – George (Wife, Diana) Detamore, Jr., Van Buren, IN.
He was preceded in death by his: Father – Ray Wilton Moore, Mother – Minnie Elizabeth (Hirsch) Moore, Brother – Ray William Moore, Brother – Ivan G. Moore and Brother-in-law – George Detamore, Sr.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Glancy – H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N Matilda St. Warren on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
A service to celebrate Lloyd’s life will be at Glancy – H. Brown & Son Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 4, 2016; viewing will be held one hour before the service. Pastor Patrick Ryan will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Gardens of Memory in rural Marion.
