Linda Sue Arnett, 57, passed away on Thursday morning, October 6, at her home surrounded by her family in Peru, IN.
She was born November 11, 1958 in Dunedin, FL to Rudolph and Adell Sanderson.
She met her husband, Jerry Arnett, while working at Camp-A-Wyle in Weeki Wachee, FL. After only two months of knowing each other, they got married on April 23, 1976, in Peru, IN. Within those 40 loving years, they were blessed with 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and her fur-child, Bentley.
Linda always had kind words for all, would always find the good in someone and the positive in any situation.
She retired from Dukes Memorial Hospital where she worked the last 4 years, even through her battle with cancer. She was also nominated as Employee of the Year for Dukes in 2014.
Linda is survived by husband, Jerry Arnett; son, Jerry Arnett Jr (Heather); daughters, Tilha Hostetler (Zac); and Kayla Hudson (Aaron); and 7 grandchildren, Grayson Denton, Sydnee Arnett, Jaren Arnett, Quinn Hostetler, Reese Hostetler, Ashlyn Arnett, and Audrina Hudson; and her three sisters, Teresa Garcia, Kathie Webb, and Donna Lucier, all of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Adell Sanderson and her father-in-law, Charles Arnett.
Visitation will be at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home in Peru on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home and will officiated by Pastor Kent B. Harting. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Mexico, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the grandchildren’s educational fund.
