Linda Lou (Foland) Clouser, 75, Swayzee, died peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on June 12, 2016. She was born on January 15, 1941, to Marvin and Vera (Shoults) Foland.

Linda was a 1959 graduate of Frankton High School. She married the love of her life, Fred Clouser, on January 2, 1960. She was a lifelong farmer’s wife in Grant County and was very committed to and passionate about helping with the planting and harvest seasons on the farm. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and church family. Linda was a proud member of Herbst United Methodist Church and the 20th Century Farm Club.

She enjoyed going on trips with Fred, family, and friends. She had many fond memories and talked often about special times she spent with them. Linda will be remembered by many for her friendly and outgoing personality. She never met a stranger wherever she went, and she truly enjoyed talking with people in the local community and businesses.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and is survived by her three children—Cathy (Phil) Weaver, Indianapolis, Curt (Michelle) Clouser, Swayzee, and Christy (Andy) Lowden; eight grandchildren—Jonah, Gracie, and Jensen Weaver; Beau, Landon, and Cami Clouser; and Jon and Max Lowden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, in 2013; her parents; and her brother, Ron Foland, Anderson.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Herbst United Methodist Church, 2256 S. 600 W., Herbst, IN.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. at the church on Thursday, June 16, 2016, with Pastor David Chin officiating. Burial will follow at Phlox Cemetery.

In honor of Linda, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Herbst United Methodist Church.
