Linda Goodenough

Linda Leann Goodenough, 64, Wabash, passed away at 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Rolling Meadows in LaFontaine. She was born in Arvada, Colorado, to the late Donald Peltier and Phyllis (Swinney) Blakeslee, who survives. Linda married Jimmy Goodenough on December 26, 1983, and he survives.

Linda worked as a welder at General Motors for 30 years; however, she was also a very talented and gifted master seamstress who had received numerous awards. She never knew a stranger and was an extremely friendly and caring person. Linda found great delight in gardening and playing piano and guitar.

She will be missed dearly by loved ones who include her husband of 33 years, Jimmy, Wabash; mother, Phyllis Blakeslee; children, Heather Leann Warner and Holly Lynn Lanning, both from Kokomo; 3 grandsons, Ryan Harrington, Pete Cross, and Tristan Warner; 4 great-granddaughters; and a brother, Kim Peltier.

Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

A celebration of life service for Linda will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at the funeral home with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.
