Lillian Taylor, 95, Bedford, passed away at 10:55 a.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Garden Villa in Bedford, Indiana. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky, on August 18, 1922, to the late Henry and Amanda (Hall) Morgan. She married Edwin James Taylor, and he preceded her in death.
Lillian retired from Foster-Forbes. She loved to go rummaging and was a regular shopper at K-Mart. Lillian also loved to work in her vegetable garden and visit with her friends.
She will be missed by her sons, James (Tonya) Taylor, Gas City, Joseph Taylor, Bedford, and Jerry Taylor, Paoli; sister, Martha Morgan, Marion; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Goldie Neeley; brothers, Harvey Morgan, Quentin Morgan, and Kermit Morgan; and grandson, Jeremy Taylor.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Lillian’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. Bill Sparks will be officiating with burial following at Estates of Serenity.
