Leona L. Cunningham, 90, Marion, died at 12:09 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Hospice Home, Ft. Wayne. She was born in Marion, IN, to the late Otto and Viola (Etta) Hullinger.
Leona worked as a coating laborer at RCA for 35 years. She was a homebody and loved playing cards. She also enjoyed playing bingo, going to casinos, and meeting new people. Leona attended Grace Community Church.
Survivors include her children, Danny DeWayne (Shirley) Loftis, Marion, Pamela Jean Jones, Gas City, and Brenda Louise (Robert) Hulce, Marion; brothers, Otto “Bud” (Mildred) Hullinger and Larry Lee (Jenny) Hullinger, both of Marion; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Leona was preceded in death by her son Melvin Loftis; and sisters, Armilda Mathias, Imogene Double, and Wanda Eutarice, MI.
Friends and family may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, at the funeral home, with Pastor Howard Clayton officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park.
