Laura Webster Rust Davis, age 48, of Fort Wayne and having relatives in Roanoke, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018. She graduated from Columbia City High School in 1987 and worked as a parts manager at Schaefer’s Indiana Turf in Fort Wayne. She enjoyed cooking and making soap and candles.
Laura was born June 20, 1969, in Decatur, IN. She was the daughter of Gale and Martha (Webster) Rust. They survive in Roanoke. Also surviving are a son Geoffrey Davis of Roanoke, a grandson Karson Little of Huntington, maternal grandmother Donna Webster of Convoy, OH, and friend John Cooper. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Alton and Irene Rust and maternal grandfather Charles Webster
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 15 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Roanoke Memorial Chapel of Deal-Rice Funeral homes, and Friday, March 16, from 10:00 to 11:00 am preceding the 11:00 am funeral service at the funeral home. Pastor Bob Bruce of Emmanuel Community Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke, IN.
