LaMar A. Bennett, 43, North Manchester, Indiana, passed away at 8:45 p.m. on April 21, 2016 in his residence. LaMar was born on October 19, 1972 in Goshen, Indiana, to Chauncey L. Bennett and Karen E. (Metzger) Frantz. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1991. LaMar did volunteer work at Black Pines Animal Sanctuary in Albion, Indiana and also the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo. He worked for Walmart since March 1, 2016. Before then he worked for McDonald’s, North Manchester, Indiana, Owen’s Supermarket, Warsaw, Indiana, and Kroger’s, Goshen, Indiana. LaMar is survived by his mother Karen E. (Metzger) Frantz, North Manchester, Indiana; one brother LaMont A. (Tiffany) Bennett, Sidney, Indiana; one step-brother Joe Frantz, Ohio; one sister Lisa R. Bennett, Nappanee, Indiana; one step-sister Gail (Fred) Gish, Claypool, Indiana; and three nephews and one niece. LaMar was proceeded in death by his father Chauncey L. Bennett. Friends and family may call Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Pastor Andrew Gathany will officiate. Burial will be private.
