Kyle Garretson, age 58, of Romulus, Michigan and formerly of Huntington, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. He worked in the printing industry all his life, starting at Noll Printing (Our Sunday Visitor), and most recently at Printwell in Taylor, Michigan. Kyle will be remembered for his kind heart and great sense of humor. His love for his Harley Davidson was only surpassed by his love for his family.
Kyle was born December 30, 1958, in Huntington, the son of Willard and Janet (Smith) Garretson. He is survived by his mother Janet Garretson of Huntington, 2 daughters Katie (David) MacNeill of Tarpon Springs, Florida and Kelly (Nicholas) Benton of Lakeland, Florida, a son Eric (Lindsay) Garretson of Hartford, Wisconsin, 7 grandchildren Blake Garretson, Mackenzie Garretson, David MacNeill, Gregory MacNeill, Eric MacNeill, Ian MacNeill, and Luke MacNeill, 2 brothers Neil ( Penny) Garretson of Huntington and Philip Garretson of Warren, and 2 sisters Barbara Garretson of Texas and Joann (Dennis) Noonan of Decatur. He was preceded in death by his father Willard Garretson.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 13, from 2-6 pm at Deal-Rice Funeral Home- Huntington Chapel and Monday August 14 from 10-11 am preceding the 11:00 am funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Huntington
