Keith M. Boyer, Jr., 70, of Ormond Beach, FL, formerly of Huntington Co., IN, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in Daytona Beach, FL. He was born on Thursday, May 03, 1945, in Huntington, IN to Keith & Betty Thompson Boyer. Keith attended the St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church in Ormond Beach, FL. He worked for 40 years before retiring at Slater Steel in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was a member of the American Legion Post #85 in Huntington. Keith enjoyed stone faceting because he loved to bring out the brilliance of the stone. He liked making stones different cuts and sizes. Keith also enjoyed the excitement of panning for gold.
Survivors include his Partner- Linda Shockey, Ormond Beach, FL, 4 Daughters – Andrea (Rick) Hahn, Wilshire, OH, Michelle (John) Seadler, Louisville, KY, Nicolle (Steve) Beer, Bluffton, IN, Stephanie Vickrey (Kendra), Greenfield, IN, Sister – Shirley Taylor, Marion, IN and many loved Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Father – Keith Boyer, Sr. and Mother – Betty (Thompson) Pressler, Step Father-Vern Pressler and Step Mother-Mildred Boyer.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Glancy – H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N Matilda St. Warren on Friday, April 01, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A graveside memorial service will follow at Star of Hope Cemetery in rural Huntington at 5:00 PM.
