Kathleen F. Anderson, 90, of Peru, IN passed away at 3:45 AM, Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Dukes Memorial Hospital. She was born in Peru on October 25, 1925, the daughter of Roy M. and Fannie I. Hopper Edwards. Kathleen married Harry A. Anderson on July 11, 1948. and he preceded her in death on January 14, 1994. Kathleen was a member of the First Christian Church and a retired Educator. She graduated from Peru High School and Ball State Teachers College. She taught Home Economics at Clay Township, Howard Township and Kokomo Center Schools. Kathleen is survived by a son David Anderson of Peru, a sister-in-law Vivian Edwards of Peru and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry, a brother Gerald Edwards, a niece Sharon Berkheiser and a great-niece Kelly Ann Edwards. A service celebrating the life of Kathleen F. Anderson will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main Street, Peru, IN with Pastor Kenny Cole officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Kokomo, IN. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
