Kara Lynn Stoebe, 23, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2017, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Kara was a joy to everyone she met and she will be greatly missed by all of those whose lives she touched.

Kara was born on October 18, 1993, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of Michelle (Easterly) and Mike Hughes. She attended Center Chapel United Methodist Church. Kara was a social butterfly. She loved everyone and had a beautiful spirit. More people should strive to be like Kara. She was a true angel on Earth. She was so full of life and had such a joyous personality and she brightened everyone’s day who came into contact with her. Kara loved going to the James Dean Festival and to different car shows. She loved to sing and dance. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and going on walks. She loved all of the Disney princesses. Kara also loved pizza and pancakes. She loved motorcycles and riding golf carts. Kara loved her sister Kaylin.

Kara is survived by her mother and father, Mike and Michelle Hughes, Marion, IN; sister, Kaylin Hughes, Marion, IN; paternal grandfather, Michael Hughes, Sr., Upland, IN; Aunt Lisa and Uncle Tim Butts, Brazil, IN; Uncle Mike Easterly, Marion, IN; extended MPS Family; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mary Easterly, maternal grandfather, Frank Easterly, and paternal grandmother, Ruth Davenport.

Arrangements for Kara have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, Indiana 46953. A visitation has been set for Saturday, January 21, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Center Chapel United Methodist Church, 8743 E 200 S, Marion, IN 46953. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Sanders officiating. Friends and family may gather at the College Park Chapel to follow in procession to the church at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
