Juanita (Khan) Niño

Juanita (Khan) Niño, 78, Bunker Hill, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.  She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend.

She was born February 11, 1939 in San Benito, Texas to Mohamed and Salome Olivarez.  On May 10, 1959, she married Pablo R. Niño (who preceded her in death).  They were longtime residents of Bunker Hill since 1964.

Juanita is survived by her sons Pablo Jr and wife Jill from Rochester, Luis and wife Christie from Bunker Hill, and Michael “Andy” and wife Geneva from Greenwood. She also is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Xaiden, Jennifer, Luis II, Francisco, Michael, Jocelyn and Matthew, Bryce, Hunter, and Jaxton. She is also survived by brothers Jesus “Juan” Chan and Jose Gonzalez.

Preceding her in death are her daughters Elizabeth and Diana, and son John Gilbert.

Friends may call from 3pm – 8pm on Sunday, September 24th, 2017 at St. Charles Catholic Church, Peru, with a Mass service at 7:30 pm.  On Monday, September 25th, 2017 at 10am there will be a service at St. Charles Church, Peru, followed by the burial at Springdale Cemetery in Bunker Hill.
