Joseph E. Eisenhauer,56, of Andrews, IN, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016, at 7:02 p.m. at his residence in Andrews, IN.
Joe was born on June 14, 1960, in Huntington, IN, to Thomas and Barbara (Walker) Eisenhauer. His parents survive in Huntington, IN. Joe married Renee Ehinger on November 8, 1980, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, IN. Renee survives and resides in Andrews, IN.
Joe graduated from Huntington North High School in 1978. He was a supervisor at Bendix Corporation. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Huntington, IN. He served on the Mt. Etna Fire Department and was on the Advisory Board for the Polk Township Trustee.
Along with his parents and wife he is survived by two sons, Josh (Lane) Eisenhauer, Bloomington, IN, and Jake (Gina) Eisenhauer, New Haven, IN; and three daughters, Emily Eisenhauer (Jarrid Spicer), Indianapolis, IN, Hannah (Dale) Dinius, Huntington, IN and Catie (Andy) Ambriole, Roanoke, IN. He is also survived by two brothers, Christopher (Lynette) Eisenhauer, Fort Wayne, IN, and Thomas (Teresa) Eisenhauer, Huntington, IN; and one sister, Elizabeth (Robert) Lusch, Huntington, IN. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Isaac, Laurel, Eli, and Samson Dinius, Kayna and Kinze Ambriole, and June Spicer.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St. Huntington, IN.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016,at 10:00 a.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St. Huntington, IN, with Pastor Steve Durrwachter officiating.
Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
