John was born in Wabash, Indiana on May 24, 1935 to the late Arthur and Ida (Davis) Conliff.
He passed away Wednesday morning, April 20, 2016 in St. Vincent Hospital, Kokomo, surrounded by his family.
John married Betty Armstrong on March 27, 1954 They recently celebrated 62 years of Marriage. Betty survives in their Converse home. John had worked for 17 years at Landola Trailer Company in Converse. He retired from General Motors after 27 years of service. John enjoyed camping, fishing and sprint car races with his family. He also was an avid mushroom hunter. He was a very loving father who enjoyed his family. John was a member of Converse United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 22, 2016, 2pm to 6pm at Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Larrison-Martin Chapel, 308 East Marion Street, Converse, Indiana.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 11am with Pastor John Rhodes officiating.
Burial will take place at the Converse Cemetery immediately after the funeral.
