John Lewis Couch, 73, of Warren, IN, passed away unexpectedly at 10:00 PM on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at his home in Warren, IN. He was born on Thursday, June 18, 1942, in Marion, IN. He married Charlotte (Lahr) Couch on Monday, June 14, 2004 in Huntington, IN. John was a 1962 graduate of Columbia City High School. Shortly after graduation he served in the US Marines for one year. He formerly drove truck for Highway Trucking and worked for United Technologies Electronic Controls in Huntington. John enjoyed fishing, golfing and especially spending time with his wife and dog Dakota.
Loving Survivors include: Wife – Charlotte (Lahr) Couch, Warren, IN, Daughter – Jennifer (Carl) Cabanas, Portland, IN, Son – John Adam (Lisa) Couch, Marion, IN, Son – Jason (Shelia) Couch, Marion, IN, Daughter – Shay (Frank) Caruso, OH, Step Daughter – Angela (Brent) Graff, Sweetser, IN, Step Daughter – Cindy (David) Hiatt, Fairmount, IN, Brother – Stephen (Delilah) Couch, Marion, IN, 23 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his: Father – Paul Edward Couch and Mother – Geraldine (Cox) Howard.
To honor John’s wishes the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
